Self-taught in the field of fashion, Helene Meunier previously studied Business Administration and Marketing, graduating her Bachelor’s degree at Reims Management School.

In late 2002, after freshly arriving in China she started to develop her designing skills and discovered the numerous advantages offered by the freedom of creation.

In September of 2003, she moves to the Suzhou creek area in Shanghai and begins to collaborate with select local tailors and other local suppliers and starts to create in earnest. At the same time, her work for Camaieu China as a fashion buyer increases her knowledge of the textiles industry in China. Rapidly, following some very interesting short-time collaborations stemming from a range of different backgrounds, she is inspired to fully develop her creativity by creating and launching her own brand: Meuh!

Proven as a fashion designer through her brand’s consistent sales in a range of stores, fairs, showrooms and bazaars’, and her freelance service to diverse companies and cultural associations in designing costumes for theater and movies, she also finds time to make a number of new brides extremely happy with custom wedding dresses. In September 2007, she starts a semester at IFA Paris-Shanghai in order to enhance her drawing, cutting and sewing techniques before giving birth to a beautiful little girl named Plume.

Most recently this year, she has just returned to Shanghai after presenting her label’s 2009 Spring-Summer collection at a fashion show held in Paris during the French Fashion week.

She speaks French, English and Chinese fluently.

Meuh! was born in Shanghai (China) in 2005, by the will of a creative self-taught French designer. Sensitive to culture, prints and color mixtures, she places particular attention in choosing noble materials. Her creations are unique and are personalized with beautiful finishing.

While she creates for men as well as for women, she also does some "tailor made" wardrobes - as long as it allows her to develop her imagination.
